ian, a disabled united states marine corps veteran, has served his country for ten years and after being medically retired, he felt he was given a second chance at life and decided to dedicate his life, time and his gifts to causes that will make a difference in the world. born in new york and raised between new york and new orleans, he feels that he has seen too much that plagues society not to mention the ills of the world while on active duty. ian often states: "everything and everyone has a story and it should be captured and shared with the world. i have wasted a lot of time destroying things and now it is time to create and as this new chapter in my life begins, i've realized for years i have carried a weapon that was designed to harm, now i carry a weapon that helps". although he has photographed for major international clients, he feels deep in his heart the overwhelming desire to be a voice for the voiceless and to live out his life as a documentary photographer. ian is a graduate of "the art institute of atlanta" and is currently based in atlanta, georgia.
